Exactly how we provide reusable items and zero waste support is a moving target. We are learning all the time, and every event is different.
Here are answers to some basic questions:
Who is qualified to use these items?
EVERYONE! We encourage everyone to start forming the habits of reuse in place of disposal, and we're here to support anyone in these efforts.
Does it cost anything to use these items?
Yes, but not a lot! We are in the process of developing a sliding scale for rental costs that ensures that this is an available option for everyone. There will be a minimal rental fee per item + a deposit.
How do I request to use these items at my event?

Do I have to wash service items before I return them?
Please do! We can provide a list of partner businesses with commercial dishwashers that are pleased to support the zero waste program.
What if I can't wash items before I return them?
If items are returned unwashed or poorly washed (in a condition that requires us to wash them) you forfeit your deposit.
I want to facilitate recycling, composting, and other waste diversion techniques at my event. Can you help with that too?
Yes! We can walk you through options and refer you to local businesses and organizations who can support your efforts.
